Troy Roberts is the Executive Director of Wakarusa Valley Development, Inc. His primary focus is the 504 Loan Program, underwriting, marketing, and packaging of 7(a) Loans. Previously, he worked as the Director of Conventions & Sports for the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce where he focused on economic development through travel and tourism.

A Kansas native, Troy is a graduate of Washburn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Masters of Science in Education degree from the University of Kansas. He and his wife, Kirsten, have a son, Ben and a daughter, Ella, which they enjoy raising in Lawrence, KS. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and participating in various sporting and outdoor activities.

Josh is the Portfolio Manager/Loan Officer for Wakarusa Valley Development, Inc. His focus is primarily on loan portfolio management, loan origination, underwriting and loan packaging. Before joining Wakarusa Valley Development, he worked for a peer Certified Development Company in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Josh brings over 30 years of business experience to our organization. Josh has lived in eastern Kansas since 1995. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach and a Master’s of Business Administration from Baker University. He and his wife, Jessica, have three children, Holdyn, Haisie and Harper. Josh enjoys racquetball, SCUBA diving and spending time with his family.
